Fort Worth's flight line
A record year for the F-35
Lockheed Martin says its Fort Worth workforce turned out a record 191 F-35s during 2025, and that more than 1,900 U.S. suppliers, over half of them small businesses, feed the program. The company also names Fort Worth as home to its Aeronautics headquarters. For a precision shop or electronics supplier, that supply chain is the market, and qualification starts with proof of capability.
Rotorcraft and an airline headquarters
Bell, a Textron subsidiary, reports more than 5,000 employees across Fort Worth and the surrounding area. American Airlines runs its headquarters from the 300-acre Robert L. Crandall Campus in Fort Worth. Between them, they create demand for parts, tooling, training, facilities work and software from suppliers who can show relevant experience.
Maintenance work at Alliance
Hillwood reports that Embraer opened a maintenance, repair and overhaul facility at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport and started a second hangar due in 2027, a $70 million investment expected to create 250 aviation jobs. AllianceTexas also hosts BNSF's intermodal facility and Foreign-Trade Zone #196, which matters to suppliers moving parts across borders.
Selling into aerospace
Quality systems first
Buyers screen for certifications, inspection capability and traceability before they talk price. Making those visible on your site gets you onto approved supplier lists sooner.
Export-controlled content
ITAR and EAR rules limit what you can publish. Capability content can sell processes and equipment without exposing controlled technical data, and we write it that way.
Recruiting machinists too
Fort Worth suppliers compete with the primes for machinists and inspectors. Careers pages and employer branding support recruiting alongside sales.

Questions and answers
By getting qualified and staying visible. Certifications, documented capabilities and on-time delivery earn a place on approved supplier lists; marketing helps by making that evidence easy to find and by getting your name in front of the right engineers and buyers.
They can. LinkedIn can narrow an audience to a single employer, a job function and a seniority level, a good fit for a market where a few large primes and their tiers buy most parts. Small, focused budgets aimed at the right titles tend to beat broad campaigns.
Certifications such as AS9100 if you hold them, equipment lists, materials and tolerances, part size ranges, inspection capability, industries served at a general level, a secure RFQ upload and a careers page. Leave out anything export controlled.
